The Opportunity

We are seeking a Civil Designer (CADD / Civil 3D) who is organized, driven, and ready to contribute to high-quality civil design and drafting. This role plays a key part in moving projects from concept through construction by producing accurate, contractor-ready deliverables and supporting field activities when needed.

As our Civil Designer, you’ll work directly with engineers and project staff, own portions of project production, and have room to grow technically and professionally.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce existing conditions plans using 3D surfaces and topographic mapping

  • Build proposed grading models, profiles, cross sections, and plan sets

  • Generate as-built plans for project closeout and escrow release

  • Develop site utilities, pipe networks, and construction details using Civil 3D

  • Coordinate designs with engineers, planners, and agency requirements

  • Assist survey crews in the field with survey support and construction stakeout

  • Keep drawing files, sheet sets, and project data organized and accurate

Preferred Qualifications

We care more about your skills and what you can do than fancy titles on paper.

  • 2–10 years of civil design and CADD experience

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2011 or newer)

  • Comfortable working with 3D surface modeling, alignments, and pipe networks

  • Experience with GIS tools and data integration (plus, but not required)

  • Clear communicator who collaborates well with team members

  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality

  • Experience with PennDOT driveway permitting

  • Experience completing PADEP Sewer Modules

Education in civil, construction, or technical fields is a plus, but real-world experience and ability matter most.
